Vintage Art Glass Bowl Iridescent Stringer Series in Aquamarine Created by Gregg Mesmer and Diane Bonciolini

Named for the striking black glass strings that run abstractly through each piece, this bowl is fused in a kiln firing. The thickness of the glass strings creates random air bubbles where they intersect making each piece strikingly unique. The color you see here is aquamarine with a subtle iridescent surface. The distinctive ‘cut-off’ edge, an official trademark, results from incorporating the inherent unevenness of the raw glass and has become visual signature. Signed, dated & numbered.
