Victorian Hand Painted Box, 1880

A Beautiful hand painted Victorian Pine Box. Made from English pine, hand painted in the style of a Victorian house with detailing around each side, with one storage compartment inside. C1880

These boxes were painted with designs on them to make them more appealing to the eye with the detailed finish making them more of a piece of furniture with style, a really lovely thing and very rare to find in such good condition. Would make a great little storage box for the kitchen or bedroom, or as a really lovely display piece.
