This is a small antique lamp table. A Chinese, rosewood and marble wine table or vase stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Fine craftsmanship on display with a lovely inset marble top
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select stocks enthusiastically carved and presenting deep chestnut hues
Quartered marquetry encloses a rouge marble plinth, with a beaded edge moulding
Pierced fretwork to the deep apron with vine leaf detail
Standing upon four cabriole legs with carved knees and bold ball and claw feet
This is an attractive and well-carved antique lamp table, with great colour and the cool rouge marble insert. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
