The Belgium artist Georges van der Straaten (born 1856) designed the two bronze busts at the end of the 19th century. One is titled “Bergere” (shepherdess), the other one “Pierette”. The two cold-painted bronze busts stand on their original marble plinth.
They are signed and one has a foundry mark from Bruxelles.
