Vintage Design
Piece is made of a single curved piece of solid teak on the top and rest on two T-shaped teak legs. Edgings on the width are rounded and smooth with a darker finish. They are flat on the depth side.
Johannes Andersen was deeply drawn to organic shapes and flowing lines. He transformed furniture’s traditionally square or rectangular panels and surfaces — like the tops of coffee tables and seat-backs of dining room chairs — into imaginative sleek designs with rounded edges and fluid contours.
Piece is in overall good original and vintage condition with some light old marks and signs of age and previous usage, patina of age and time as well as some faded finish on the top( see photos next to 1 cent coin for perspective) , legs, edging and overall structure( see photos).
Furniture maker stamp as well as model number is present( see photos).
Table is solid and stable.
It has been cleaned, oiled with organic linseed oil and waxed with natural bees wax with respect to its original patina.
