Vintage Design
Magnificent yet subtle big sofa with a curvature on each side of the backrest. It rests on six tapered wooden legs that bear the signature traits of Illum Wikkelsø. Wikkelsø often designed his furniture with softened angular details and triangular forms that were also often used by other Danish designers. Completely renovated-reupholstered in Spanish high quality furniture fabric by Manuel Revert (cotton + pes fabric with easy clean surface, stain resistant and fire retardant). Main fabric colour is creamy beige with orange and side threads. Original brass springs in the seat are retained in great condition. Manufactured by Århus Polstermøbelfabrik in about 1970s. Renovated according to original design by professional upholsterer, craftsman.
