6 Side Chairs by Eilersen based on a design by Peter Ole Schiønning from the 60s.
A functional design with clearly readable construction. The chairs are composed of solid wood elements. The ends of the wood are rounded with a large radius. Canvas fabrics are clamped into the wooden frame as seat and backrest. The fabric is fixed by a simple system. It is passed through slots in the wood and then locked into place with a wooden rod in the hem. The rustic combination is reminiscent of classic safari chairs. The chairs are in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
