We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of vintage circa 1900 handmade in England tub armchairs with carved Claw & Ball feet and Chippendale floating button cushions A good looking, well made and decorative pair, they are also exceptionally comfortable. They were reupholstered by leather chairs of England around 10 years ago and at that time hand dyed this rich reddish brown colour which has aged beautifully and now has a glorious patination Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there will be good honest patina as mentioned but nothing negative to note Dimensions Height:- 76cm Width:- 83cm Depth:- 73.5cm Seat height:- 44cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
