Stamped and numbered oak octagonal drum Gillow and Co. pedestal table, circa 1860. Untouched and 100% authentic with just shy of 160 years of patina. This is a important museum grade item that’s still very functional up to this day. Having 4 sets of drawers one being the deeper set and other being shallow. The pulls are smooth brass casters all original and working as should.

Founder Robert Gillow was an 18th century English cabinet maker who had a solid reputation for quality.
Gillows of Lancaster made furniture for the likes of Westminster Palace and the Houses of Parliament to name but a few. Table top has a minor small cup ring left untouched unrestored.
