Contemporary Design
Sicily is not only classical and baroque architecture, but also modern and contemporary art.
The futurist period, in addition to some works by Fortunato Depero inspired by the main Sicilian cities, has left some masterpieces such as the incredible frescoes by Benedetta Cappa Marinetti in the rooms of the Palazzo delle Poste in Palermo.
Enna is a series of containers with a totemic presence, which can be placed freely thanks to the finish present on the five visible sides.
In fact, a polychrome wooden marquetry that recalls the avant-garde of the early twentieth century but also the decorative language of radical design or the early eighties covers, thanks to a work of high ebonistery, all sides of the cabinet.
The refined woodworking is therefore declined in a sample of minimal design that as a means of expression uses the language of color / texture of natural wood or aniline stained.
Vertical container with structure in oak blockboard, varnished on the inside with an open pore smoke grey finish, side fronts and backs in oak blockboard plated with inlays of polychrome wood, mass-dyed with a water-based finish.
Base in black matt lacquered blockboard.
Version ENNA B cm 220x 110 H x 70
