A fine English bamboo table or stool from the Aesthetic Movement period of the late 19th century, featuring a handsome patinated finish and square seat of bamboo with inset blue and white ceramic tile by Wedgwood of the faerie (or fairy), Moth, from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, upon a decorative four-legged bamboo stretcher base.
