These English creamware dinner plates date to the late 19th century, circa 1880.
The dishes are decorated with flowering thistle boughs. Western arts of this Aesthetic Period were influenced by a Japanese aesthetic focused on asymmetrical compositions.
The back of each dish is stamped “Wedgwood.”
