Contemporary Design
This stunning rocking chair was designed in 1885 by Gebrüder Thonet OHG. Its sinuous silhouette was crafted entirely of beechwood that was bent using the iconic Viennese steaming treatment. The dynamic shape creates a charming and romantic effect, enhanced by the Viennese straw that covers the elongated back and seat. The warm wood finish adds a warm and welcoming accent to the piece.
