We are delighted to offer for sale highly decorative and exquisitely made Antique Victorian circa 1870 Burgermeister chair based on a 17th design A very well made and decorative chair, it is heavily carved from top to bottom with six legs all of which are finished with the original castors, the leather upholstery is period oxblood, it has a wonderful patination that can only be achieved through decades of use Condition wise, we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, this chair retains all the original patina Dimensions Height:- 73cm Width:- 71cm Depth:- 61cm Seat height:- 43cm. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
