Antique handcrafted unique silver collectible box North India.
Antique Raj Mughal silver box with hand chased and repousse fine decoration.
The top of the box is very intricately finely chased panels with a combination of with foliage and flowers repousse decoration and toped with a peacock bird final.
The deep gadroons around the body give this pandan box an almost architectural quality of Mughal style.
Lined with royal blue velvet.
While the style is Mughal, we feel that this box was probably made in the late 19th C.
The box is in good condition.
Size, 3″ diameter and 3.5″ in height.
