Vintage Design
This extremely practical angled desk with a drawing function when the top is tilted comes from a well-known Berlin architect’s household. The sideboard attached to the left offers storage space both inside and outside with a sliding door. In addition, the surface of the sideboard can serve as a shelf. The overall impression is very good, the functions are given and the hard-wearing Formica has only a slight patina of age. If necessary, a plan cupboard in a matching color can be purchased from the same household. It must be emphasized that such well-preserved writing and drawing furniture from this time in a tasteful design and high-quality design is very rarely offered.
with slight signs of wear. This unusual architectural piece of furniture is simply color coordinated in shades of gray. Thanks to its robust construction, the plate can be tilted steplessly up to a maximum of approx. 15 degrees in order to make it easier to draw the plans. All surfaces are covered with robust formica, which has withstood almost 60 years quite well, only the top shows some discoloration and scratches. The sloping front of the drawers with an invisible handle bar from below is remarkable.
Plywood covered with light and dark gray formica, square steel tube painted gray, top tilting mechanism.
