From circa 1860 -1880.
This beautiful mirror is made of a deep/thick ebony veneer, over a solid oak base and is quite heavy as a result, weighing 20lbs.
Beautifully crafted with (what we think is) the original beveled mirror glass.
The front of the mirror frame is reeded and indented with multiple layers.
The rear of the mirror frame shows all the correct and authentic signs, of natural age, to include wooden pins/dowels used in it’s construction.
In very good original condition with only some minor professional repairs, to the corner joints and a small piece of the inside veneer, edging the glass, on the top section. These are not significant or noticeable and do not detract from the piece.
