Vintage Meuble Francais Ormolu Mounted Burr Walnut Cocktail Cabinet, 20th Century

This is a stupendous vintage MIMuble Francais Empire Revival burr walnut and ormolu mounted cocktail cabinet with fitted and mirrored interior, of the highest quality and dating from Circa 1970. The upper part comprises a pair of doors that each has three beautiful small shelves with brass galleries on their inside, to display small glasses and mixers. The doors open to reveal a stunning fitted mirrored interior with a glass shelf above a marble base, above two drawers ueful for bottle openers and corkscrews with a pull out marble inset slide for serving drinks below. The lower part has two doors that open to reveal a cupboard with a central shelf. The cabinet is smothered in decorative ormolu mounts, is raised on ormolu feet and is complete with working locks and keys. Bought from a beautiful country house in Sussex, the owners had purchased it at great expense, in the late 1970’s, from MIMuble Francais in Mayfair, London.
