A traditional equestrian style ceramic wall vase in brown. This unique vase is meant to be hung on a wall or other flat surface. The vessel is in the shape of a horse head, and is painted and glazed in brown, white and black. The back is glazed in a creamy white, and a hole at the top of the head is meant to hold water with flowers. A hole at the top of the vase makes for easy hanging to a wall.
The maker of this piece is unknown, as is the period. However, we estimate that it is a midcentury piece.
We’d love to see this piece in a guest room, perhaps hung on a wall near the bedside table, styled with fun white blooms. It would also be fabulous in a country home, or as a gift for a horse lover.
