scandinavian mid-century 1960s, produced by palshus (denmark), founded by per and his wife annelise linnemann-schmidt.
the couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects, often with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps). Colors were characteristic scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige.
many other talented ceramic artists also worked for palshus including jens h. Quistgaard and esben klint.
the plate is signed under the base : palshus and pls for per linnemann-schmidt, model c102. This piece has an attribution mark,
