Vintage Design
Set of 2 Swedish rococo chairs from the late 18th century, 1780 to 1790. The chairs are northern Swedish and dry scraped to the original paint from the late 1700s. The chairs have their origin in Västerbotten in Northern Sweden. They have the local carpenters own personal and charming interpretation of the rococo style during the late 1700s. Slightly exaggerated shapes in comparison to chairs made in the capital Stockholm but clearly from the same period. Healthy and solid with new padding and new upholstery in linen fabric. The seat is 42 x 44 cm.
