Vintage Design
On offer are mid-century armchair, model name DSC 106, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for the brand Castelli in cca 1960s-1970s Italy. The chairs have aluminium and steel frames with the original dark brown woven upholstering. Their frames allow for easy stacking (see photographs). Giancarlo Piretti has played a leading role in Italian design. The DSC 106 model is one of Castelli’s most famous products, present in many museums around the world. This is a perfect home office or desk chair, comfortable and functional yet with a modern design fitting well with different styles of interior decoration. DIMENSIONS: Height max: 77 cm Seat height: 45 cm Seat width x depth: 47 cm x 47 cm CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There are some signs of use to the metal and the fabric is a bit worn in places – on the armrests especially (see photographs).
