An important and rare American Historical Block Front Chest. In mahogany with pine drawers. Provenance: Roy Thompson. Labeled Boston or Charleston, in a rare size 32″.
With four long drawers, the top one slightly shorter, all with fine bat wing bales and escutcheons (lacking a key). Partly restored on the left and right of the base, repaired crack on the top right, missing locks and the back of the top with replaced section.
