Vintage Design
Very rare pair of easy chairs and ottoman, designed by Norman Bel Geddes (USA 1893-1958) around 1950. It is one of the first industrial designer, like Raymond Loewy, Walter Dorwin Teague and Henry Dreyfuss. Ambassador Streamline the current (1930-1960), it will only produce very little furniture and objects, while his book ”Horizons” will nevertheless a reference. Packing original period, very little wear, tension preserved. H P X 79 CM 81.5 CM X 59 CM L. H seat 43 CM. The footstool 53 CM X 40 CM X H P 39 CM.
