Antique Regency Revival Dining Table & Chairs, Set of 13

This is a fabulous antique 20th century dining suite comprising a Regency revival dining table, circa 1920 in date and, a set of twelve antique hepplewhite dining chairs circa 1880 in date. The oval table been hand-crafted from flame mahogany with crossbanded decoration, and has two original leaves. The two leaves can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion and it is raised on four turned columns on a four splay legged base, that terminate in their original brass castors which makes it easy to move when required. The fantastic antique English-made set of twelve mahogany shield back dining chairs are of “Hepplewhite” design and circa 1880 in date. The set comprising a pair of open armchairs and ten side chairs, each with a pierced shield back above stuff over seats and raised on square tapering supports. The seat cushions have been upholstered in an elegant beige fabric with red diamond decoration. The chairs have been masterfully crafted in beautiful solid mahogany throughout and the finish and attention to detail on display are truly breathtaking. This stunning set will stand out in your dining room and will definitely become a key piece in your furnishing collection.
