With a rare size, this antique Persian Bibikabad carpet, from the Hamadan area in the western Persia, originated in the early 20th century and features a light color palette, including ivory, grey, taupe, steel blue, green, and blue. A small central medallion is surrounded by a multitude of scrolling vines and intricate geometrics. Multiple borders frame the entire piece, each with their own unique and detailed design.
