Rare piece of furniture made of solid mahogany with two elements.
The upper part is a display case with two doors with moulded frames on the inside. Each door has a large square glass pane. These doors slide on their rails and are closed by an original hook lock, with a working ring key and a brass fillet entry. Inside, we find a back with a large silver mirror and a 1 cm thick glass shelf. This shelf has notches that allow it to be adjusted on racks. This top unit has a moulded cornice and a flat top.
The lower part of this piece of furniture has two framed doors in the same spirit as the upper part. These doors are hinged and have a large brown bakelite panel in the centre. Each door has a brass handle, known as a drop handle, with a rosette. On opening, we discover a partition and 4 adjustable shelves on racks, making this piece of furniture very functional by the independence of each part.
A beak moulding underlines the separation of the top and bottom elements, and the whole rests on a plinth.
