This set of 11 Minton hand painted dessert plates is a wonderful example of the artistry of the Aesthetic Movement. Dated 1881, these depict the combination of flowers and insects so sought after for both decoration and to set a special table- each plate is uniquely painted with bright contrasting polychrome enamels on a bright white ground and trimmed in gold. One plate has crazing, 10 in in excellent condition.
