Sterling silver Aesthetic Movement mug/cup on pedestal base, New York, Ca. 1875, Wood and Hughes – makers. Lovely etched designs on mug. Handle is in the form of a swan (its long neck being the hand-hold) holding the top of the cup in its mouth. The handle is attached to the side of the cup with its wings. Measures 4 inches high x 4 inches wide from outer edge of cup to outer edge of handle ; opening measures 2 3/4 inches diameter. Weighs 4.330 troy ounces. Cup has some very minor dints (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use. Dark spots on silver in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition. Thanks
